United States of Kindness

A National Movement to MakeKindness America’s Defining Legacy

Partner Next Steps

1. Identify Your Internal Kindness Lead

Choose a point of contact who will coordinate with the USK team.

This could be you, or a person in your organization that will help:

  • Share materials internally
  • Collect stories and examples
  • Coordinate your organization’s kindness messaging and visibility
  • Connect the organization to USK updates and opportunities
2. Announce Your Commitment

We recommend both internal and external announcements so your employees and community know you are part of a national movement.

Internal ideas:

  • Email from leadership
  • Post on company website
  • Mention at a staff meeting
  • Add USK to your digital signage or internal newsletters

External ideas:

  • Social media post with USK language and logo
  • Press release or blog article
  • Add “Proud Partner of the United States of Kindness” to your website

Click here for sample release and social media language. Your announcement also allows USK to celebrate your participation across national channels.

3. Assess and Elevate What You Already Do

Most organizations already practice kindness through various initiatives. USK helps amplify the kindness your organization is already practicing. There is no need to create new programs.

Simply bring visibility to the moments already happening by tagging @USofKindness and using #USK250 in your social posts or sending stories, photos, or videos directly to the USK team. This connects your organization to the national campaign and increases your visibility as a kindness leader.

4. Encourage Participation in the 250 Acts of Kindness Challenge

Encourage your employees or members to take part in the USK 250 Acts of Kindness Challenge in 2026. Acts can happen at work, at home, or in the community. Small moments count. By inviting people to look intentionally for opportunities to be kind, you help create steady, meaningful impact. USK will provide ideas, challenge boards, and templates to make participation easy.

5. Begin Sharing Stories of Kindness

Storytelling is the heart of the movement. USK will amplify partner stories across national platforms and we encourage partners to share:

  • Photos
  • Short videos
  • Quotes
  • ‘Moments of kindness’ seen at work
  • Highlights of service projects or employee involvement

Tag United States of Kindness social media accounts and use the campaign hashtag #USK250:

Facebook – @USofKindness
Instagram – @USofKindness
LinkedIn – US of Kindness

6. Invite Others to Join

  • Vendors
  • Community partners
7. Stay Connected Throughout the Year

Your internal Kindness Lead will receive ongoing updates from the USK campaign with:

  • USK Newsletter Monthly ideas and prompts
  • Impact updates
  • Participation highlights
  • Connection opportunities with other partners
8. Celebrate and Share Your Impact

At year’s end, we will gather stories, quotes, and highlights from all partners for the National Kindness Impact Report, released December 2026. Your organization will have the opportunity to be featured and recognized for your contribution to this national moment.
